El presente trabajo estudia, en primer lugar, el vínculo de la filosofía spinozista con el islamismo y la figura de Mahoma, tomando en cuenta la Correspondencia del filósofo y las referencias que en su obra se encuentran referidas al mundo islámico. En segundo lugar, se hacen tres referencias a incidencias del pensamiento de Spinoza en el contexto internacional actual, particularmente referido al mundo árabe. Se considerarán el pensamiento del filósofo egipcio Hasan Hanafi; la reflexión sobre la apatridia del marfileño Berni Seni Naman y los escritos sobre la cuestión palestina de Jean Genet.
This paper first examines the link between Spinozist philosophy and Islam and the figure of Muhammad, taking into account the philosopher’s Correspondence and references to the Islamic world found in his work. Secondly, three references are made to the impact of Spinoza’s thought on the international context, particularly with regard to the Arab world. The thoughts of the Egyptian philosopher Hasan Hanafi, the reflections on statelessness by the Ivorian Berni Seni Naman, and the writings on the Palestinian question by Jean Genet will be considered.
