From several plantations of Grevillea robusta A. Cunn. spread all around the Misiones state, 95 trees were selected from different locations and ages. The trees were selected at random for each diameter class, with at least one individual for each class. On the stem of felling trees the trunk diameter with and without bark was taken at the following height from the base: 0,1; 0,3; 0,7; 1,3; and 2,0 meters, and from there every 2 meters up to the apical point of each tree. Based in the linear multiple regressions several mathematicl models were tried; taking as independent variable the trunk diameter at breast height (DBH), and the total height of the tree; whereas the dependent variable was the total volume with and without bark. The Prodan was the best fixed model to these variables, and based in this model a total volume table was set. This table has a double value entrance for trees with bark and those without bark.
A partir de plantaciones de Grevillea robusta A. Cunn distribuidas en la provincia de Misiones, se seleccionaron 95 árboles correspondientes a diferentes sitios y edades. Los árboles fueron elegidos en forma aleatoria dentro de cada clase diamétrica, procurando disponer de al menos un individuo por clase. Sobre el fuste de los árboles apeados, se midieron los diámetros con y sin corteza a las alturas de 0,1; 0,3; 0,7; 1,3; 2,0 m y luego cada 2 metros hasta el ápice del árbol. Distintos modelos matemáticos fueron probados a través de la técnica de regresión múltiple, que incluyeron como variables independientes el diámetro a 1,3 metros y la altura total del árbol, y como variable respuesta el volumen total con y sin corteza. El mejor ajuste se obtuvo con el modelo de Prodan y a través de él se confeccionó una tabla de volumen de doble entrada con y sin corteza.
