The project is articulated around a main axis which is that of Atlantic and land circulation, both of men and of material, cultural goods and intangible elements during the 17th and 19th centuries. It is based on the idea that ideas, newspapers, personal letters, books, diplomatic documents, ecclesiastical documents, ways of being, ways of understanding institutions, diseases traveled along with men. It is the main objective of this project to reconstruct the effects of the circulation and reception of such issues in the Ibero-American world. Explaining the nuances and originalities of such experiences is of utmost importance to understand the formation and evolution of our societies in the multiplicity of aspects involved in the project.
