This project focuses on analyzing and developing solutions to improve airport infrastructure in the Department of Paysandú, Uruguay, with particular attention to the City of Paysandú and the "Tydeo Larre Borges" International Airport. An exhaustive survey was conducted to identify various issues in the area, focusing on those related to air transportation. After conducting research at the airport and interviewing Aeroclub authorities, specific objectives were defined to guide the project. These objectives focused on structural, road, and hydraulic aspects to address the identified needs. As part of the executive project, a hangar was designed taking into account the needs identified during the survey at the "Tydeo Larre Borges" Airport. Additionally, a new direct road access from National Route No.3 was proposed to improve accessibility and safety, considering traffic projections determined through data provided by the official bulletin of D.I.N.A.C.I.A. A hydraulic analysis was then conducted to mitigate possible negative impacts that could arise with the implementation of new roads, ensuring proper management of stormwater and avoiding risks to the community. Finally, an Environmental Impact Study was carried out to assess the environmental repercussions of hangar construction and ensure that the work is done sustainably and respectfully towards the environment. This project integrates various disciplines, from structural engineering to environmental management, with the aim of improving airport infrastructure and promoting sustainable development in the Paysandú region.
El presente proyecto se centra en el análisis y desarrollo de soluciones para mejorar la infraestructura aeroportuaria en el Departamento de Paysandú, Uruguay, con especial atención en la Ciudad de Paysandú y el Aeropuerto Internacional "Tydeo Larre Borges". Se llevó a cabo un exhaustivo relevamiento que permitió identificar diversas problemáticas en la zona, enfocándonos en las relacionadas al transporte aéreo. Tras realizar investigaciones en el aeropuerto y entrevistar a las autoridades del Aeroclub, se definieron objetivos específicos que guiarían el proyecto. Estos objetivos se centraron en aspectos estructurales, viales e hidráulicos para abordar las necesidades identificadas. Como parte del proyecto ejecutivo, se diseñó un hangar teniendo en cuenta las necesidades detectadas durante el relevamiento en el Aeropuerto "Tydeo Larre Borges". Además, se propuso un nuevo acceso vial directo desde la Ruta Nacional No3 para mejorar la accesibilidad y seguridad, considerando las proyecciones de tráfico determinada mediante los datos brindados por el boletín oficial de la D.I.N.A.C.I.A. Luego se realizó un análisis hidráulico para mitigar posibles impactos negativos que podrían surgir con la implementación de nuevas vías, asegurando la correcta gestión de aguas pluviales y evitando riesgos para la comunidad. Por último, se llevó a cabo un Estudio de Impacto Ambiental para evaluar las repercusiones ambientales de la construcción del hangar y garantizar que la obra se realice de manera sostenible y respetuosa con el entorno. Dicho proyecto integra diversas disciplinas, desde la ingeniería estructural hasta la gestión ambiental, con el objetivo de mejorar la infraestructura aeroportuaria y promover el desarrollo sostenible en la región de Paysandú.
